As the Bead Art is very time intensive, a non-refundable deposit equal to half of the calculated amount of the item ordered must be received by Ruth before work is started. When the art is done, then the item will be photographed and the picture emailed to the client. Upon receipt of the picture, the client shall email Ruth that the picture was received and is satisfactory. Then the balance of the payment – including shipping and handling charges – shall be sent by mail to Ruth. (Sorry, no capability for credit card payments.) When the balance is received, the art will be shipped.
For jewelry pieces, an estimated quote will be given prior to accepting the order. Half of the quote shall be sent (again, non-refundable) and received before the piece is started. If the jewelry piece is made using semi-precious stones, the actual cost cannot be determined until the piece is completed. When the piece is finished, then the final quote of costs will be emailed to the client along with a picture of the jewelry item(s) ordered. . Upon receipt of the picture, the client shall email Ruth that the emailed picture was received and is satisfactory. Then the balance of the payment – including shipping and handling charges – shall be sent by mail to Ruth. (Sorry, no capability for credit card payments.) When the balance is received, the jewelry will be shipped.
Please note, the beadwork is being crafted by an artist and such the artist’s creativity must be acknowledged and given free rein.
